Hi, I’m 39 years old, I have a private pilot’s license, and have been flying for 7 years.  I made the decision to build my own airplane because I wanted to be able to get more airplane for my money.  I chose the Tundra because it met my ‘mission profile’, being a true 4-place airplane – and also having the very stable flight characteristics that I want in an airplane.  I am a first time builder with limited experience prior to purchasing the airplane.  I have found the process of building the tundra rewarding, and simple enough for a first timer like me.  The construction method is one that my kids can participate too, truly making it the ‘family airplane’.
